I book in advance and each piece can take between 2-3 weeks to complete; I do try to be flexible and meet fixed budgets, but that said: consider what two to three weeks of pay should look like for a illustrator/designer in California. When working digitally, I stick to Photoshop and draw on my Cintiq Pro 24. When on the go: Procreate is preferred. For traditional work- I’m a big fan of painting on wood with Holbein Acrylic Gouache, or for paper: using Sakura Koi Watercolors. I also regularly blast through a pack of Crayolas, just for the thrill of the kill.
